The Picture House Regional Film Center is thrilled to announce the return of its signature fall fundraiser, Picnic in the Park, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM in Pelham. This beloved community tradition invites friends, neighbors, and fellow movie lovers to celebrate the end of summer with an unforgettable evening of delicious food, refreshing drinks, live music, and a special movie screening—all while supporting The Picture House’s mission to bring the community together through film, education, and cultural programming throughout the year.
The evening begins with a special screening of a feature film inside The Picture House Pelham’s beautifully restored historic theater. After the credits roll, guests will stroll across the street to Wolfs Lane Park for delicious food and drinks, live music by fan-favorite band Dos Décadas, and dancing under the stars with friends, neighbors, and fellow supporters of The Picture House.
Picnic in the Park ’26 is proudly chaired by Jason Feldman, Lauren Frasca, Gayle White, Julie Murray, and Bryan Terry.
“Since it was launched in 2012, Picnic in the Park has captured everything people love about The Picture House—great movies, great company, and a wonderful sense of community,” said Clayton Bushong, Executive Director of The Picture House Regional Film Center. “It’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer while supporting the programs and historic theaters that bring people together all year long. Every ticket purchased helps ensure The Picture House continues to inspire, entertain, and serve our community for generations to come.”
Tickets are $135 per person and include food and beverages, a special movie screening, and live music and dancing with Dos Décadas. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or joining us for the first time, Picnic in the Park is the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer, connect with friends, and support your neighborhood nonprofit theater.
