Friends of Whitey Ford Field and the Old Astoria Neighborhood Association, with the support of Movies Under the Stars (NYC Department of Parks), invite you to a FREE and fun night at Whitey Ford Field, where we will be showing “Footloose.” The screening will take place September 11th at 7:30 PM.
“Footloose” tells the story of Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon), a teenager from Chicago who moves to a small town, where he tries to overturn a ban on dancing enforced by a local minister (John Lithgow).
Bring a blanket and/or picnic chair. Brooklyn Harvest Market on 2nd Street has a restroom and generously supports all our events!
