NEW YORK (PIX11) – On this week’s episode of “New York’s Best Bagel,” PIX11’s Henry Rosoff reviews H&H Bagels and discusses which famous shops to go to in Manhattan.

H&H Bagels is one such famous shop, and it’s making something of a comeback after having financial issues decades ago. It’s been recapitalized and has adopted a franchise model outside of NYC. It is also expanding within NYC, using the batch method of preparing bagels and sending them out to local locations. The bagel overall was solid, but not great. The outside was well seeded but slightly overcooked. The inside was overly ready, and the cream cheese had a nice flavor. Henry scored it a “7.”

After the review, Henry offers some recommendations about famous shops to try and to skip when visiting Manhattan.
