Lost and Found at the Great New York State Fair 2026. Did you lose something on your trip to Syracuse this summer? Did you enter the gates with your wallet, car keys, and cell phone but left without one of those items? There may be hope.
According to a press release, the New York State Police are currently in possession of lost property items that were found and turned in during the 2026 New York State Fair. These items are being securely held at State Police North Syracuse.

My girlfriend ‘loses’ her cell phone pretty much every day for about 3 minutes. Suddenly there it is and all is right with the world. If you actually lost an item at the fair, most likely your 3 minutes of panic have turned into several days of emptiness.
Take a look at the picture below for a partial collection of items fairgoers left behind. If you are one such fairgoer, you are encouraged to contact State Police to determine if their property has been recovered.
