LIVERPOOL, N.Y. — This Saturday, Sept. 12th, the Dot Foods Distribution Center will be hosting its second annual volleyball tournament at Sharkey’s Event Center. This year the tournament is raising funds to benefit the Make-A-Wish Central New York Foundation.
A cornhole competition will also be an addition to this year’s tournament. Teams can register for either or both games at Sharkey’s website by following this link.
Volleyball team registration costs $140; cornhole team registrations cost $40. Check-in is at 9:30 a.m., with the tournament beginning at 10. The grand prize for the winning volleyball team is $400.
Spectators are encouraged to attend to cheer on the local teams and learn more about the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase for the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses.
