Frank “The Tank” Fleming stepped into the Staten Island FerryHawks dugout as a guest bench coach on Tuesday. The Barstool Sports personality is known for viral sports rants, especially about Mets collapses and NFL heartbreak. He joined manager Wally Backman for a doubleheader against the Long Island Ducks at SIUH Community Park in St. George. Fleming said the analytics were useful and called the FerryHawks’ season record of 20-102 a “messy situation.” He also praised the stadium views, saying he did not understand how the Yankees got rid of that view.
