Dominick Bianchi, 35, was last seen Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. around his home in East Greenbush, the local police department said on Facebook.

Bianchi has Type 1 diabetes, and his new bride, Julianna Zyra, told ABC affiliate WTEN she wasn’t sure if he could monitor his blood sugar. The missing man has a continuous glucose monitor, but it’s “paired to his phone that he doesn’t have,” Zyra told WTEN.

Zyra told the station Bianchi had been battling mental health issues recently but “nobody really knows about it,” adding that “he’s very sick and he is not in the right headspace.”

Bianchi was described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall with blue green eyes, brown hair, and a beard. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black long sleeve shirt, and possibly a baseball hat, police said. His phone, wallet, and car were left at home.

Bianchi and Zyra married on May 15, 2026, at Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury, according to wedding photos shared on Instagram.

In a message to Bianchi through WTEN, Zyra told her husband, “I know you feel really alone, but there are people who want to help you. If you’re seeing this, please, come home.”
