A new chapter?
Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour famously found love and got engaged on Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The fan-favorite couple tied the knot in 2023 and currently live in San Diego, California.
The two love to keep fans updated with their lives online, often sharing vlogs and posting content together.
And recently, the two revealed that they’ve moved to New York City.
Dylan posted photos from the US Open and his time in the city, writing, “Moved to New York please dm any and all recs.”
Hannah also posted a video online, revealing that the move is only for a month and the reason why they decided to temporarily relocate.
“I had this idea. I was like, ‘What if we lived in New York for a month?’” she recalled. Hannah explained that she and Dylan both have work in the city, so it made sense. “So here we are. We will be spending the month of September in New York.”
She also explained that she’s been feeling a desire to try something new before starting a family.
“Right now we live in San Diego, and it’s like Barbieland. But I think this conversation of wanting to have kids in the next few years keeps coming up,” Hannah shared. “I’m 31 right now and I’m like, ‘Okay, we can either do that here right now, lock in in San Diego. Or am I kind of wanting to explore more opportunity… which I’m really energized by?’ I think my gut is saying just to dabble in something else or somewhere else.”
Hannah also expressed feeling a pressure to do this sooner rather than later and teased it’s a trial to see if they would want to permanently move to the city.
“In my early 20s, I was like, ‘Oh, I’ll figure it out in a few years.’ And now it just feels a little bit more like now or never, even though that’s not the case, but you know what I mean,” she stated. “In a way, this is us kind of trialing to see if a life in a city excites us or if it doesn’t. I’m just info gathering right now, honestly… I’m excited. I know it’s only a month, but I feel like it’s a new chapter, perspective.”
