The Long Island Ducks are postseason-bound for the first time since 2023!
The team secured their berth in the 2026 Atlantic League Playoffs after beating the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs 6-1 on Sunday, completing a three-game sweep.
With the win, the hometown team clinched the Second Half North Division Championship.
The Ducks will now begin a best-of-five series against the first half champion Hagerstown Flying Boxcars.
Games one and two will take place Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. on their home turf at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip.
The series then shifts to Meritus Park in Maryland game three and if necessary, games four and five, Friday through Sunday.
