Killers, Cults & Queens is set to deliver its most in-depth investigation yet, dedicating four episodes to the JonBenét Ramsey case as part of a new weekly format.
This marks the first time hosts Cheryl The Queen and Nikki Druce have focused so extensively on a single case, allowing them to examine every detail of one of the world’s most discussed unsolved murders.
Launching today, with a new ALWAYS ON format that will see Cheryl and Nikki release two main episodes every week, plus a Friday debrief show, The Spooky Sleepover, and deep-dive mini-series.
Video episodes will also be available on YouTube, and the show will feature special guests, including its first “Queen For A Day”.
The expanded schedule means listeners can expect more frequent episodes and deeper explorations of both well-known and lesser-covered cases.
Nikki and Cheryl highlight stories that have not received widespread attention, with a particular focus on queer voices and experiences.
Cheryl said this is especially important at a time when LGBTQ+ representation is facing uncertainty in mainstream media, noting the end of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK on the BBC.
Upcoming episodes will see the pair joined by Robin Ince to investigate Borley Rectory, often described as England’s most haunted house.
Other topics include the Lead Masks Case, with Cheryl exploring a notable alien abduction story, and a three-part series on the Titanic, covering its origins, sinking, and the decades-long search for the wreck.
Since its launch in 2022, Killers, Cults & Queens has covered a wide range of subjects, from true crime to the paranormal.
The podcast will also be taking to the stage this autumn with three live shows in London, Edinburgh and Brighton, bringing their investigations and audience interaction to a live setting.
The new era for Killers, Cults & Queens begins today, 14 September, with the first two episodes of the JonBenét Ramsey series available across all major podcast platforms.
