Woodside on the Move hosted its annual Woodside Queens Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12, along 60th Street through 63rd Street and Woodside Avenue in Woodside.

The daylong event, which ran from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., featured local vendors, delicious food, art, access to community resources and a wide variety of family activities to help celebrate what makes the Woodside neighborhood special for its residents.

Woodside on the Move Executive Director William Jourdain noted this year’s celebration brought extra meaning, as 2026 represents the non-profit organization’s 50th year.

“This year we’re celebrating community spirit. We’re celebrating culture. We’re celebrating everyone that represents Woodside and residents throughout Queens. But it’s especially meaningful for us as it’s one of our largest milestones. We’re celebrating our 50th anniversary this year,” Jourdain said. “Fifty years of long history and being a trusted partner, where the community has trusted us with their young scholars, they’ve trusted us to provide housing services, they’ve trusted us to help make sure that our commercial corridors are thriving, our small businesses are prosperous and they’re flourishing. They trusted us to advocate on their behalf and to be their champion, and as we’re celebrating this huge milestone, it’s momentous for us because we’re moving into the future with 50 more years in sight, and we’re growing, we’re elevating to truly be the organization that is on the move.”
