Last month, President Donald Trump endorsed Republican candidate Saritha Komatireddy in her bid to unseat incumbent Letitia James.
Komatireddy has more than a decade of experience as a federal prosecutor and also clerked under Brett Kavanaugh at the U.S. Court of Appeals before he was a Supreme Court justice.
She also served as chief of staff of the Drug Enforcement Administration in the Biden administration.
Komatireddy joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Monday to discuss the race.
