Kurt Geiger has tapped the Brooklyn-based demi-couture designer Kelsey Randall — the architect behind stage looks worn by Hilary Duff, Taylor Swift and more — for a “Brooklyn Baddie Meets London It-Girl” collection.
The creative partnership between the designer and the footwear brand kicks off with its first launch on Tuesday during London Fashion Week, the beginning of a series of capsule collections merging London and New York.
With Brooklyn’s attitude and London’s wit, the first collection embraces maximalism as self-expression across footwear, apparel and accessories, drawing inspiration from the painted streets around Randall’s Bushwick studio.

Quotidian urban characters are transformed into objects of embellishment and desire, with faux fur, sequins, pizza rats, pigeons, bodega snacks, paint splatters and towering leopard platforms showcased through a luxury lens. The collection ultimately celebrates the extraordinary found within the ordinary.
Offered at kurtgeiger.com and in stores, pricing for the collection ranges from 28.04 pounds to 736.32 pounds.

The collaboration gives Randall the chance to translate the essence of her one-of-a-kind runway and performances pieces (including several of Hilary Duff’s tour looks this summer) into a collection for the everyday — without giving up her signature exuberance.
“Kurt Geiger has always celebrated individuality and creativity with a sense of joy,” said Randall in a statement. “This partnership gave me the freedom to build a world where Brooklyn attitude collides with London glamour. Every piece tells a story, and every embellishment is an invitation to have fun with fashion.”

For the London label, working with Randall means continuing the brand’s commitment to championing creative voices with new perspectives on London style.
“Kelsey approaches fashion with remarkable imagination,” said Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, chief brand and creative officer at Kurt Geiger, in a statement. “Her work is fearless, expressive and beautifully crafted. Together we’ve created a collection that captures London’s irreverent spirit through Kelsey’s unmistakable creative lens. It feels artistic, unexpected and full of personality.”
