BRUSHTON, N.Y. —

New York State Police are investigating a home in Brushton, New York, on Wednesday morning after receiving a call for a welfare check.

Troopers responded to a home on Hill Street at 8:30 a.m. to check on the residents.

State Police did not provide any additional information about the nature of their investigation. There is no threat to the public.

Officials from the Brushton-Moira Central School District sent a notice to the community saiying that the district “has been made aware of an incident that occurred in our community today.”
