A woman’s corpse was found stuffed inside a trash can in a parking lot at Plumb Beach just off the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn, police said Thursday.
The body was discovered inside the trash can in the beach’s parking lot near Knapp St. in Sheepshead Bay about 3 p.m. on Wednesday, cops said.
The city Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how she died as cops work to identify her.
Plumb Beach, which sits on a peninsula across the Rockaway Inlet from Breezy Point, is one of New York City’s lesser known beaches, typically frequented by locals.
