The New York Blood Center is renewing its urgent call for O-negative donors in the New York and New Jersey area. But all donors are needed.
When O-negative blood runs low, surgeries are postponed; cancer care is delayed; and doctors may have to make difficult decisions due to the limited blood supplies. Information is at nybc.org.
