FLOYD, N.Y. — The Rome Police Department announced the arrest of a Floyd, N.Y., man in a narcotics investigation.
The police department said it charged Antoine D. Williams, 35, with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Williams was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon. All of the charges are felonies.
The Rome Police Department Special Investigation Unit, New York State Police and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 7653 New Floyd Rd. Apt. 3 in the Town of Floyd around 5 a.m. on Thursday.

There, they found 17.59 grams of cocaine and nearly 2 grams of crack cocaine. They also found a loaded handgun, scales and packaging materials.
Williams was processed at Rome Police Headquarters and will be transported to the Oneida County Correctional Facility for Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
