Back in 1988, Anthrax joined forces with Adidas for an exclusive colorway of the Conductor model, a collab that was quietly shelved when Adidas repurposed the model and colorway for basketball legend Patrick Ewing. The original Anthrax version sat dormant in the archives for nearly forty years. Until now.
Brooklyn Projects tracked down the exact molds, materials, and colors from the original run a process that included locating a pair worn by Scott Ian through a collector to nail down the precise specs. Adidas granted the opportunity to resurrect the model from the archives with complete accuracy. The result is as close to the original as possible without time travel.
Due to the craftsmanship and materials involved, only one hundred pairs were produced worldwide. Each pair arrives in a special box adorned with vintage tour passes from Anthrax‘s archives. This is not a lifestyle collab. This is a piece of heavy metal and sneaker history on your feet at the same time.
