A 59-year-old NYC teacher was found dead with head trauma in her Bay Ridge apartment on Monday morning. Authorities said Maria Ines Granda’s husband, Mauricio Granda, was arrested Tuesday evening and charged with murder. Police said she had not reported to her pre-K teaching job in Brooklyn, and a wellness check was requested by family members. Yolanda Granda Trivino, 73, was also charged in a separate Sunset Park incident after a 29-year-old man accused her of striking him with a dog leash.
