College Claims #1 Rankings in Four Categories

Baruch College continued its strong showing in the U.S. News & World Report rankings, earning four number one placements in 2027.
For the fourth straight year, Baruch College has been named the top public college in New York State by U.S. News & World Report in its “2027 Best Colleges-North” rankings.
The ranking marks one of four categories in which Baruch placed first. The College also earned #1 rankings for Best Value for In-State Students, innovation, and Social Mobility among public colleges, giving Baruch four top rankings overall.
The College was equally strong in the overall rankings, placing #9 among public and private colleges and universities in the North, up one position from last year, and ahead of 94 percent of institutions in the region.
In one of its largest gains in the rankings, Baruch climbed 28 places in the Best Value Schools category to #37 overall and #3 among public institutions in the region.
U.S. News evaluated more than 1,700 colleges and universities nationwide, ranking 155 regionally, using up to 17 factors to measure academic quality and graduate success.
