Blue Man Group will make its Broadway debut this holiday season with Blue Man Group: A New Holiday Surprise, an festive production that will play a limited engagement at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, November 12-January 3.
The engagement marks the first New York return of the Blue Men, who played a 33-year run at the Astor Place Theatre, which concluded in February 2025.
A New Holiday Surprise will feature classic holiday music performed on Blue Man Group’s signature custom instruments, as the Blue Men encounter the traditions, rituals, and joyful absurdities of the holiday season. Along the way, they explore themes of generosity, presence, creativity, and human connection—with plenty of unexpected detours.
In addition to the Broadway run, the show will play the CIBC Theatre in Chicago November 24-December 13 and the Boch Center-Wang Theatre in Boston December 15-23.
