A 30-year-old man was shot in the chest in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, according to the NYPD.
It happened around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday outside 260 Hawthorne St.
Paramedics took the man to Kings County Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition as of Thursday night.
Details about what led up to the shooting and who may be responsible were not immediately available.
Investigators say the victim is not cooperating with the investigation.
