A 45-year-old man was shot to death outside a Queens strip club by a crook trying to steal his jewelry early Thursday, police sources said.
The victim was shot in the back by a robber who approached him from behind and demanded his jewelry outside Riviera Gentleman’s Club on Steinway St. near 34th Ave. in Astoria about 3:50 a.m., the source said.
Medics rushed the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released.

The crook, wearing a green Nike Tech sweatsuit, fled empty handed west on 35th Ave. in a white Mercedes-Benz SUV, authorities told ABC 7 New York.
No arrests have been made, police said.
