Millie Bobby Brown has appeared on the Stranger Things promotional tour wearing a naked dress from Bronx and Banco
The star is promoting the fifth and final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which premieres November 26
Brown has recently addressed the controversy around her red carpet style in an interview with British Vogue
The naked dress continues its reign on the red carpet, and Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown appears to be making it her sartorial signature.
On November 8, the 21-year-old actress stepped out for Netflix’s Stranger Things event in Los Angeles wearing a naked dress look from Bronx and Banco’s Fall 2025 collection. The actress went braless in a floor-length gown that featured a dramatic plunging V-neckline and a sheer mesh overlay embroidered with a grid of glittering sequins. On the runway and on Revolve where the dress is currently retailed, the look is worn with a black thong, but stylist Ryan Young opted to style the look with a flesh-toned underlay – Stranger Things is a kids’ show after all.
The dress was a perfect choice for Brown, nodding to her child-star origins with a sweet, oversized velvet bow at the waist while making it clear, as Millie has, that she’s very much grown up.

This appearance marks the second time in a week that Brown has embraced the naked dress trend during the Stranger Things press tour. On November 7, she appeared alongside co-star David Harbour in a romantic Rodarte gown with feather-trimmed sleeves and sheer lace panels. Her return to the spotlight with Harbour was significant — it followed a Daily Mail report alleging Brown had previously lodged a complaint about his on-set behaviour, a claim neither party has publicly addressed. Millie’s look may have successfully outshone the rumours.

Millie Bobby Brown has been outspoken about defining her own style. During promotional rounds for her sci-fi epic The Electric State, Brown was on the receiving end of cruel headlines claiming her blonde hair and styling “aged her beyond her years.” In response, she posted an Instagram video denouncing the tabloid commentary as “bullying.” “I refuse to apologise for growing up,” said the actress who has helmed the hit Netflix series since she was 12 years old. “Let’s do better. Not just for me, but for every young girl who deserves to grow up without fear of being torn apart for simply existing.”

She recently spoke to British Vogue about the incident: “I was depressed for three, four days. I was crying every day.”
And yet, the star has emerged from the scrutiny with an emboldened sense of style. Back to brunette, Brown is confidently carving out a space for herself on the red carpet.
