STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The city Department of Transportation will conduct roadway repair and maintenance work throughout Staten Island during the week of Monday, Sept. 28.
The agency’s in-house paving crew will work during daytime hours in Community Board 2, while a contract milling crew will operate at night in Community Board 3. Maintenance crews will also work day and night across multiple Community Boards throughout the borough.
The work may result in temporary detours and street closures in affected areas. The Department of Transportation Roadway Repair and Maintenance Division said the work is essential to maintaining safe and efficient roadways.
