This weekend’s nor’easter is slowly winding down, but the storm’s impact varied widely across New York City.
Most of the flooding was concentrated in neighborhoods along the water, including Howard Beach and Broad Channel in Queens and South Beach on Staten Island.
Strong winds also knocked down more than 1,000 trees across the five boroughs. At least one person died after being struck by a falling branch in Brooklyn.
New York City Office of Emergency Management Commissioner Christina Farrell joined “Mornings On 1” Monday to discuss the storm’s aftermath and the city’s response.
