Common Room – with its approachable comfort food and curated music program – had a grand opening in downtown Hollywood. The crowd of influencers, content creators, media and City of Hollywood dignitaries also got a sneak peek of The Brooklyn Room, an invitation-only speakeasy bar hidden within the restaurant. Common Room is part of Bol Hospitality Group, which includes concepts such as The Bol Asian Cuisine, Bae Korean Grill, Davidoff of Geneva cigar lounge as well as Social Room, which is also in Hollywood. “Having Social Room there has propelled us … to add a culinary experience,” co-owner Eric Douglas said just before the ribbon-cutting. “So that is kind of what gave birth to the Common Room and the Brooklyn Room. Many say we’re expanding hospitality in Hollywood one room at a time.”
