MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was struck by a subway train early Tuesday morning, rerouting several lines, according to the MTA.
The agency said that the person was hit at 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal. Their condition is unclear.
Downtown C trains are running express from 59th Street-Columbus Circle to Canal Street and downtown E trains are on the M line from 5th Avenue-53rd Street to West 4th Street-Washington Square.
The MTA encourages commuters to take an uptown train if their stop is skipped. Delays are expected on downtown A trains since they share tracks with rerouted lines.
Downtown A trains are also running on the F line from West 4th Street-Washington Square to Jay Street-MetroTech for a signal issue.
