Albany, N.Y. (WRGB) — Playoff baseball arrived in the Bronx as fans from the Capital Region boarded buses headed to Yankee Stadium for Game 1 of the Yankees-Red Sox wild card series.
Yankee Trails is offering motorcoach trips that take fans from the Capital Region directly to Yankee Stadium, eliminating the need to navigate New York City traffic or find parking while giving local fans the chance to experience the postseason atmosphere in the Bronx.
The service offered tickets to Game 1 Tuesday and Game 2 Wednesday. If there is a Game 3 on Thursday, the company plans to do the same as it did for the first two games.
For many riders, the trip was about being part of the next big postseason moment at Yankee Stadium as the Yankees and Red Sox rivalry adds another chapter.
