Bronx detectives are investigating a stabbing inside an apartment on Tuesday night that left a man seriously injured.

According to law enforcement sources, officers from the 42nd Precinct rushed to the residence on the second floor of 925 Union Ave. in Morrisania just before 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 after receiving a report of a person stabbed.

When they arrived, the cops found a 34-year-old man inside the apartment in a bloody mess.

Upon further investigation, authorities learned that moments earlier, the victim had become embroiled in an argument with another man inside the home. The beef had quickly turned bloody when the suspect pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim twice in the back and several more times in the left side of the torso.

Police did not say what sparked the dispute.

EMS rushed the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect, a man wearing all black clothing, was spotted fleeing the apartment building soon after the brutal attack took place, cops said. He remains at large as of Wednesday morning.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
