A Bronx man was found stabbed to death in his apartment on Thursday afternoon, and police are trying to piece together how and why he was killed.

Law enforcement sources said Christopher Osbourne, 37, was found dead inside his residence at 2216 Adams Place in Belmont at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 1.

Officers from the 48th Precinct made the discovery after being called to the location to conduct a wellness check. Police sources said the victim’s fiancée had contacted 911 to check on Osbourne after not hearing from him for several days.

Sources said Osbourne was found unconscious and unresponsive on the floor of his kitchen near an open refrigerator door. He had suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso, left arm, left hand, and back.
