STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Calling all Staten Island superheroes, villains, Jedi, anime characters and everything in between.
New York Comic Con is approaching, and the Advance/SILive.com is looking for Staten Islanders who are gearing up for the convention.
If you’re attending this year, especially if you’re planning an elaborate cosplay, we want to hear from you.
We’re putting together a story spotlighting the Staten Islanders heading to Comic Con and the costumes they’re bringing with them. Homemade creations, group costumes, longtime cosplay traditions and first-time Comic Con attendees are all welcome.
Interested in being featured? Email reporter Nicolette Cavallaro at ncavallaro@siadvance.com with your name and contact information.
The event will be held in Manhattan from Thursday, Oct. 8 to Sunday, Oct. 11.
