Headlight Rivals

Headlight Rivals is a four piece Pop Rock/Power Pop band based out of Manhattan, Kansas. Formed out of the ashes of Kansas based bands: Carney Encore, The Mathematics, and Tree Kitty, they are now composed of the lineup: Eric Kleiner on lead vocals and Guitar, Ryne Timken on vocals and lead guitar, Seven Black on vocals and bass, and Dan Casimir on the drums. Although the music leans towards the heavy side, most of the set features fuzzed out bass, hard hitting drums, and dual guitar riffage. However, the main focus of the music is to be hook heavy and lyrically focused.

The band cites being influenced by acts such as The Replacements, Cheap Trick, The Beatles, HUM, and many more. Most recently, the band is working on their second full length release from the label “Dumb Ghost Recording Enterprises”. They are no strangers to touring and plan to continue writing, recording, and playing shows as much as possible!
