LACONA, N.Y. — The New York State Police said a woman was topless and entered a school building.

The state police on Oct. 1, around 2 p.m., troopers responded to Sandy Creek Central School at 124 Salisbury St. in the village of Lacona, N.Y., for a public lewdness complaint.

An investigation determined that earlier that day, the woman, whom police identified as Kristy L. Grafton, 45, of Lacona, was standing on the porch of a nearby residence when she allegedly removed her robe and exposed herself to students while school was in session.

The police said that when troopers were responding, Oswego County 911 received an additional report that a woman was outside the school without a shirt and subsequently entered the school while “partially disrobed.”

Grafton was located and taken into custody. She was charged with three counts of public lewdness and two counts of disorderly conduct.

She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Sandy Creek Town Court.
