Bebe Rexha is making headlines after trading the concert stage for the dance floor at Angelina’s Restaurant in Tottenville. She appeared at a traditional Albanian bridal shower for Dorina Papraniku, the future bride of Rexha’s brother, Florent. Rexha wrote “Zemra mal” and called Papraniku “our gorgeous nusë” in an Instagram post. The celebration featured music, dancing, guests filming on their phones, and Rexha in a light-blue gown with peach detailing. The post also included the Albanian wedding song “Hajde Nuse, Reja Jeme” by Shyhrete Behluli. Rexha was born Bleta Rexha in Brooklyn, moved to Staten Island as a child, and attended Tottenville High School. She has said she rode the Staten Island Ferry at four in the morning or after school while dreaming of a future in music. The Instagram post has already received more than 138,000 likes.
