DUMBO, Brooklyn (WABC) — A small slice of Brooklyn is in the spotlight where a street was renamed for a pair of pizza legends.
Old Fulton Street in Dumbo will also be now known as ‘Patsy and Carol Grimaldi Way.’
The couple is known for serving up coal-fired pies starting in 1990.
Their pizza drew admirers from all over the city – even the world.
Grimaldi’s Pizza closed in 1998, eight years after it opened, but Patsy and Carol returned to Old Fulton Street in 2012 to launch their new restaurant called Juliana’s.
