State police say a parkgoer restrained a naked man accused of performing lewd acts at a Hudson Valley state park until troopers arrived Thursday afternoon.
New York State Police responded to a reported fight at James Baird State Park on Thursday around 2:50 p.m. When they arrived, they found a bystander physically restraining Paul Roberts, 51, who was naked and had allegedly been engaging in lewd conduct.

Roberts received an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Lagrange Court on Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m.
