JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) — The search continues for the person who stabbed a father of four to death in Queens early Saturday morning.
The incident happened outside a bar on Jamaica Avenue.
Witnesses say a fight broke out, and the victim, identified as Sulimon J. Ferrier, 29, tried to help, and that is how he got attacked.
His mother described her son’s last moments before he was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The incident happened just steps from the victim’s home.
The entire block shut down over the weekend, and police searched through the scene, leaving neighbors on edge.
Ferrier leaves four children behind, one of whom is not even one year old.
No one has been arrested so far, and no information on what led up to the fight that ended with the man’s death.
