The Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 was the stage Sunseeker chose for the world debut of the new Manhattan 94, a 28.60-metre model that extends the Manhattan range with a series of design solutions aimed at making the most of the volume available. Presenting her in Cannes was David Walder, Sales Director for Sunseeker’s Pacific region, who guided our visit on board from the new yacht’s flybridge and talked us through her main features. The most significant point concerns the main deck, where the shipyard has placed the full-beam owner’s suite.

“We have a full-beam master cabin on the main deck,” confirms Walder, “which is very rare for a yacht under 100 feet.” It is one of the defining elements of the design, and it delivers an owner’s cabin with the dimensions and the feel normally associated with yachts in a larger class. Placing the master on the main deck also changes the way the interiors are laid out overall. The suite sits forward on the main deck and benefits from large side windows, while the saloon occupies the central and aft part of the deck, with a strong emphasis on visual continuity with the outside.

The British yard describes the saloon as an apartment-style space. The generous side glazing increases natural light and makes the volumes feel even bigger. “We have a wonderful apartment-style saloon with lots and lots of light,” Walder points out. “There are many things to see and discover.” On the lower deck the layout provides four guest cabins, each with its own en suite. The configuration accommodates up to 10 people in total, plus crew, while keeping the owner’s area clearly separate from the guest area.

The outdoor spaces have received just as much attention. The flybridge is one of the key elements of the Manhattan 94’s configuration, bringing together areas for navigation, entertaining and relaxing. There is a further sunbathing area forward, while aft the design incorporates a multifunction platform linked to the X-TEND system. This allows the aft area to be reconfigured according to how it is being used, turning it into a genuine extension of the beach club. The garage is sized to take the tender and watersports equipment, confirming how much importance the design places on making the stern usable.

In terms of dimensions, the Manhattan 94 measures 28.60 metres overall, with a maximum beam of 6.56 metres and a draught of 2.07 metres. The ratio between length and available volume is one of the central themes of the design: while staying below the 30-metre mark, the model offers an internal layout usually found on larger yachts.

Propulsion comes from twin MTU engines, for a combined output of up to 4,000 hp. Top speed is a claimed 26 knots, while Humphree stabilisers are there to improve comfort both under way and at anchor.

The exterior profile is an integral part of the design too. The Manhattan 94 recently won Best Exterior Profile in her category at the World Yacht Trophies 2026, an award that highlights the yard’s work on the proportions of the superstructure and on the balance between internal volumes and exterior lines. In Cannes the new 94 also forms part of a particularly wide-ranging Sunseeker display, which includes the Superhawk 55, Manhattan 56, Manhattan 68, Yacht 76, Predator 75 Sportsbridge and Yacht 100. The model therefore sits within a range that covers different interpretations of the motor yacht, with attention to the design of spaces and to performance as the common denominator.

With the Manhattan 94, Sunseeker is moving into a competitive segment — flybridge yachts under 30 metres — with a very precise answer: concentrate a high degree of usable volume into a length that is still manageable, bring a full-beam master cabin onto the main deck and, at the same time, keep a generous amount of outdoor space. The result is a yacht in which layout, volume and functionality are the main design elements. The world debut in Cannes is the first international test for a model destined to occupy one of the most strategic parts of the Sunseeker line-up.
