Although it seems like all the pop stars are obsessed with ballet these days, no one pulls off the aesthetic quite like Rosalía—and perhaps that’s because she knows how to give the soft style just the right amount of edge.

After a few days in Paris for fashion week, the Spanish singer returned to New York City yesterday afternoon, where she was seen getting up to her old balletcore ways in a straight-off-the-runway ensemble.

The look—a romantic, feather- and flower-adorned dress—was pulled from the Erdem Spring/Summer 2027 ready-to-wear collection, which was unveiled just a couple weeks ago, during London Fashion Week.

Like a pair of pointe shoes, the dress came in a blush-pink satin, and it featured a square neck with a seam running down the center, while subtle creases and folds decorated the bodice.

But the delicate fabric was disrupted along the skirt, where the ruffles were stitched into a wavy, asymmetrical hem in front to reveal large white feathers sprouting underneath, adding volume like panniers. For more romance, a bouquet of flowers in orange, cream, and pink was pinned to the hip.

Rosalía accessorized her look with a pair of gothic ballerina kitten heels from Abra.

While it was all very delicate and dramatic, Rosalía decided to add a dark touch to the look with a pair of black ballerina kitten heels from Abra, which featured rows of spiky straps running across the vamp.

From her gothic Laura Andraschko ballerina skirt, to her plunging latex tutu dress from Yasmina Atta, and her decaying, baby-pink bolero jacket from Madomorpho, Rosalía sure knows how to make the romantic balletcore trend completely her own.
