Long before the Cornell rape investigation, the News 4 I-Team revealed a gap in New York’s rape law that is now front and center. The story in 2019 prompted legislation to close what’s become known as the voluntary intoxication loophole. The author of that bill, who has since left public service, is furious her legislation remains stalled. The I-Team’s Chris Glorioso reports.
