MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was being held on a $50,000 bond following his arrest in connection with violating the offender registration act and other offenses Thursday afternoon in Manhattan, officials said.
The arrested man was identified as Derrick Lee Milazzo, 48, of Manhattan.
Riley County police filed a report in the case around 9:25 a.m. Sept. 28 in 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road, officials said.

Milazzo was subsequently arrested at approximately 3:22 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Kearney Street in Manhattan.
He was then booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with 11 counts of violating the offender registration act; six counts of perjury; and three counts of aggravated violation of the offender registration act.
Milazzo remained in the Riley County Jail on Friday, officials said.
