Manhattan used a dominant effort on both sides of the ball to record a lopsided 46-0 win at home over the Broadwater Bulldogs of Townsend on Friday evening.
The Tigers offense was paced by an explosive aerial assault in which quarterback Tyson Pavlik threw for three touchdowns in the early going, leading to a 27-0 lead at halftime.
Meanwhile the Manhattan defense was suffocating, with players such as Colter Jones making the Bulldogs’ backfield a nightmare and coming up with multiple sacks on the evening.
The defense went on to pitch a shutout as the Tigers record the 46-0 win.
Manhattan improves to 5-1 on the season, setting up a huge showdown next week when they play host to 6-0 Jefferson with first place in the Southern B standings on the line.
