“We wanted to create a health and wellness pavilion, a financial literacy pavilion and we also wanted to create the sensory station for kids with autism and developmental disabilities. We have the amusement park, the entertainment, the award ceremony, the color guard and now we just started a new teen area. So it’s truly something for everyone,” Richmond Hill Block Association Park Fair Chair Kim Phelan said. “I think it just brings everybody from all over together and form lifelong friends. You connect with people, and it’s just a very relaxing environment where people can just sit and be together.”

“RHBA for years has done this. Bring the community together. The resources, the NYPD, the healthcare professionals. They do this all the time. They bring the community together. And that’s why the area, Richmond Hill, is such a great, vibrant community for decades, for centuries,” State Sen. Joseph Addabbo Jr. said. “To be a partner with them is a pleasure. I’m just thankful I get to be a part of it.”
