Spend a weekend reveling in the creativity of Brooklyn with the return of Gowanus Open Studios. Visitors can take a look inside the creative environments of more than 400 artists during the 30th annual event sponsored by Arts Gowanus.

The environs are no longer strictly confined to Gowanus, with more than 90 locations stretching into Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, and other surrounding neighborhoods. Visitors get free access to studios and venues to chat with artists, see their work, and even make a purchase.

Included in the sites are new studios championed by Arts Gowanus that were created as part of the Gowanus rezoning’s Community Benefits Agreement. So far, 22 affordable studios are occupied by artists according to Arts Gowanus, and some of those will be open for the weekend event.

Scope out all the art on Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18 from noon to 6 p.m. For a full list of participating artists and images of their work, check out the Gowanus Open Studios 2026 map and participant roster.
