MELROSE, The Bronx (WABC) — A 1-year-old girl was injured by flying glass during a shooting in the Bronx that also injured a 32-year-old man on Monday.

It happened around 4 p.m. at East 155th Street and Courtlandt Avenue in the Melrose section.

Police say the 32-year-old man was shot in the ankle, and a bullet ricocheted, striking a car with the baby girl and a 16-year-old girl inside.

They say shattered glass injured the baby, who was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. She suffered minor injuries.

There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
