A 12-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after she was shot twice outside a home in the Bronx, according to police.
Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. after getting a call about a girl having been shot in the foot and the chest outside the house on Tratman Avenue in the Westchester Square neighborhood, police said.
The girl was taken to the hospital before EMS could arrive, the FDNY said. She was in serious condition, according to police.
No arrests had yet been made.
