This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Park Slope, Prospect Park South, Bay Ridge, and Brooklyn Heights. How did they fare?
First up, on Berkeley Place, this 1880s brownstone hasn’t changed hands in decades and the period details appear to have been lovingly cared for. This former House of the Day sold in June for $6.5 million, which was $600,000 over the asking price.
One of the rambling early 20th century dwellings in Prospect Park South, this stucco house has bedrooms galore, a sleeping porch, garage, and modern updates like central air. This former Open House Pick entered contract in August.
In Bay Ridge, this single-family house is at the corner of the picturesque Barwell Terrace. The petite dwelling has two bedrooms and an interior garage. This former Open House Pick sold in June for $900,00, which was $25,000 over the asking price.
Finally, in Brooklyn Heights, there is an abundance of closet space inside this prewar one-bedroom apartment, along with details dating from the building’s Deco-era construction. This former Co-op of the Day sold in August for $850,000, which was $25,000 over the asking price.
