“What if I told you that based on what your principal has asked and your great teachers who want nothing but the best for you — what if I told you you’re going to get a brand new gymnasium and a brand new cafeteria?” said Fossella to the crowd of students. “You all deserve the very best. You’re going to get great opportunities here at 373. We just want to make it a little better. So when we finally build that new gym, that new cafeteria, wear it well. Enjoy it. You guys deserve the best.”
Hoffman explained that the funds will be allocated for next school year, so any design or construction will be announced at a later time.
