MELROSE, The Bronx (WABC) — The man accused of pushing his child’s mother and their daughter from a 15th-floor balcony in the Bronx faced a judge from his hospital bed on Wednesday.
Angel Carrasco, 31, is still undergoing psych evaluations after he was arrested last week.
On Thursday afternoon, Angel Carrasco, accused of fatally shoving his ex-girlfriend from a Bronx balcony, was walked out of the police precinct and seemingly smiled as he was jeered by a large crowd.
On Wednesday he was arraigned in the death of his daughter’s mother after prosecutors say he pushed them from a Bronx apartment balcony, leaving the infant critically injured.
He is facing charges of murder and attempted murder in the case.
Nathaly Michelle Ramirez, 23, died after officials say she was pushed with her 8-month-old daughter in her arms.

The infant remains in critical condition but is continuing to recover in the hospital.
Judge Cary Fischer also issued an order of protection for the suspect’s daughter. He cannot go near, call, text, or communicate in anyway with the child.
Carrasco was remanded. He is due back in court on November 4.
